Among the many reasons why I adore Kate Winslet - she never tries too hard, you know what I mean? Like Kate Beckinsale or Jennifer Love Hewitt, ball gowns at the drop of a hat – it’s too desperate, it’s so…extra. And unnecessary. And, thank Goddess, totally beneath Kate Winslet. So she shows up, she looks nice, well put together, in a fabulous suit, with even more fabulous shoes, toes painted a naughty purple/plum, she does her thing, and then she goes away and makes great movies. What’s not to love? Well…maybe the hair. The hair could’ve used 5 more minutes. Otherwise – Kate is the hotness.
