There’s a certain style aesthetic to the country music red carpet. A CMA carpet is not a Golden Globes carpet. It’s brighter and sparklier. The hair is bigger, the bows are wider.
So I was surprised to see this dress on Kelsea Ballerini. It’s not the best dress. And it has a certain CMA quality with the metallic accents. But it’s probably more of a Hollywood dress than a Nashville one.
I can’t believe I’m saying this because I always prefer a sleeve but I wonder whether or not it would have been better if the sleeves were capped or if there were no sleeves at all.
