Remember what I said last week about Heidi Klum’s Halloween being overtaken by celebrities? Instagram has made it so that celebrities are all going ALL OUT for Halloween – and of course no family goes more ALL OUT than the Kardashians. The other day we were talking about how television pilot episodes are, generally, not all that strong and you often have to stick with a show for two or three before they get going. Then someone asked me for an exception – an example of a show with an outstanding pilot. The first one that came to mind, because it’s recent-ish, is Fleabag. I went back and watched the first episode this weekend and it’s excellent. And not just because Olivia Colman is in it but she definitely makes an impression. Jennifer Aniston joined Instagram and we had to make it a dedicated post because, well, it’s Jennifer Aniston. It was a big deal – and it broke records. Matthew McConaughey joining Instagram? Not that big of a deal. He’s A List for sure but I feel like for him it was a matter of time. There are questions though. Who’s interviewing him? Is this the right format on IG?
