It’s been almost half a year since Kit Harington and Rose Leslie were photographed together. Last night they were seen in London at the MS Society’s Carols by Candlelight. And this is noteworthy because around the time of the Game of Thrones series finale, it was reported that Kit had entered rehab. And that was noteworthy because, as you know, for years there have been reports about his behaviour at various bars. And also rumours about him cheating on Rose. Since he completed treatment, both have kept a relatively low profile – for personal but also professional reasons.
Game of Thrones was the biggest show on television for nearly a decade. Kit has been open about struggling with that spotlight. But also, it was announced this summer that he’d be joining Marvels The Eternals and they’ve been shooting the movie the last few months at Pinewood in London.
This should answer any questions about their status then? The first year of marriage is often tricky and theirs was likely made more complicated with rehab. That said, it’s not like it hasn’t been done before. Keith Urban went to rehab right after he and Nicole Kidman married and they just celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary. Obviously it wasn’t easy and they’ve both talked about putting in the work and how the work rewarded them. Not that they’re looking but if they are, this would be a model for success for Kit and Rose.
