Lana Condor and Noah Centineo were spotted heading to dinner together in Vancouver yesterday. They are apparently doing reshoots for To All The Boys: Always and Forever, Lara Jean, the third and final installment in the series. Principle photography wrapped a year ago and the second movie came out in February. Initially it was expected that Always and Forever would come out just ahead of the new school year but… you know, it’s not like anything has gone to plan. So it’s possible that we could be looking at a 2021 release date. Netflix has yet to confirm the schedule.

I’m OK to wait though if it means they’re reshooting to get things right. Because the second movie, PS I Still Love You, wasn’t my favourite. While it was probably impossible for them to match the charm of the first movie, the issue with the second is that, for me, I didn’t care about the love triangle. Or, rather, it was the wrong triangle – and I’m usually down for an old-fashioned love triangle. It’s just that what was happening between Lara Jean and Gen was so much more interesting than what was happening between LJ, Peter Kavinsky, and John Ambrose McClaren. And the best scene in the movie is the one between LJ and Gen in the treehouse when they finally confront the breakup of their friendship.

If you’ve read the books though, there’s a lot to be excited about in the third movie. LJ goes to South Korea! It’s confirmed that they filmed on location last summer as LJ and her sisters connect with their heritage. Also there should be several good angsty moments between LJ and PK as they figure out their future together and… whether or not they have sex.

As for this dinner and whether or not it means – no. It doesn’t mean. Lana and her boyfriend Anthony De La Torre just marked their five year anniversary.
