Have been seeing #FreeLorde pop up on social media? It has nothing to do with Lorde – she hasn’t been arrested – but it’s a f-cking bonkers piece of legislation that has been proposed in New Zealand as a way to keep kids in school: fine the parents of high school dropouts. Lorde dropped out of high school. Clearly she’s fine. And I’m not saying that all high school dropouts become superstar millionaires but how is penalising families going to help anyone?! (Dlisted)
For the last seven years, my everyday bag has been a backpack. I know they weren’t cool for a while but some items are so useful, so practical, that they defy trends. The backpack is the perfect invention. My current backpack is a Vans with a Snoopy a huge Snoopy silhouette that covers the entire face that you can only see when you look closely. It carries so many things, I call it my work station. Everyone needs a backpack! Here are some suggestions. And after you get your backpack, get a fanny pack. Because that, too, is saving my life when I don’t have to carry around a backpack. I’ve been going through a fanny pack addition. Currently up to five. And they don’t have to be expensive. A couple of weeks ago, I went to NASA and got one there for $20 – it says NASA on it! (Go Fug Yourself)
Donald Trump is pissed at the mayor of Minneapolis, Jacob Frey, for telling him he has to pay upfront if he wants to come and hold one of his shouting parties. Is that really the reason he’s upset though? Or is there something more to this? Or less? Mayor Jacob Frey is hot. He has good hair, like Justin Trudeau. He also kinda looks like Patrick Dempsey.
