Let’s talk about posing, specifically posing when you get your own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. When Mimi got hers, she put her body down on the ground because lying down is when she’s most comfortable. Lynda Carter just did it too. I understand why. Because you want to get close enough to it to be able to take the photo. But would you lounge out like it’s a chaise longue? I suppose that’s the only way to do it… elegantly, if you’re a woman, that is. Men can put one knee down and have one foot on the ground because they’re in pants. Most women wear dresses to the ceremony. Not that it will ever happen to me but I would wear pants. And my pose would be the Asian squat. (Dlisted)
Amal Clooney already gave us one great leather trench coat this week. And here’s another one. It’s caramel. It’s gorgeous. And instead of a buttery soft leather, this has some shine, like patent, but it also doesn’t look stiff. I also love these pants with it. The whole outfit is giving me Jacqueline Kennedy vibes. This dress that Malin Akerman’s wearing is… a lot. So much. I feel like if you’re going to do the bow on the shoulder than the ruffles below take away from it. Pick one or the other? And that shoe choice only adds to the already overwhelming amount of detail. Also the hair. Because she has bangs, it’s almost yet another accessory, you know? Bangs or not though, my go-to here would have been a topknot. With the bangs and the hair hitting the shoulder, everything seems like it’s being pulled down. (Go Fug Yourself)
Every Avenger now has their own poster. That’s 22 character posters which is a lot of scrolling. Since I’m an Avengers stan, this was worth it to me. Favourite poster? SHURI, OBVIOUSLY.
