Margot Robbie’s working on a new project with Olivia Wilde directing about an angel who’s thrown out of heaven and has to fight the devil on earth. Don’t Worry Darling was chaos, but it shouldn’t have meant no more directing opportunities for Olivia. Collaborating with Margot, who’s a major player in the industry now, is a great boost for her. Drake is trying to laugh off Kendrick Lamar’s “euphoria”, his relentless six-minute answer to Drake that dropped yesterday, extending hip-hop’s biggest beef. Vivian Medithi at The Fader called it a “dynamic study in hating”, because when you hate someone, and Kendrick truly seems to hate Drake, lol, it’s not just the big sh-t but the small petty sh-t. Everyone has an opinion on who takes this round, or whether or not we need to keep going at this point, but my favourite random development out of all this is the Chinese restaurant in Toronto that Kendrick namechecks in the song. New Ho King for the win! (Complex)
Last year was already a big one for Tyla because, as I’ve said before, at least in my feed, you couldn’t go anywhere without hearing “Water”. But she’s still on the climb, Tyla is nowhere near the peak of her popularity, and now she’s on the cover of Cosmopolitan looking outrageously beautiful and profiled by Elaine Welteroth. Tyla at the Met Gala, please! (Hollywood Unlocked)
Christy Turlington opened the Ralph Lauren show the other night and, as usual, she looks amazing but also, if ever there was a collection that screamed quiet luxury, it’s this one. My favourite look is the slouchy camel sweater over the sparkly tulle skirt. It’s GORGEOUS. (GoFugYourself)
OMG for the second day in a row I’m here talking about Bluey and it also happens to be only my second day knowing what Bluey is. Yesterday it was Bluey appealing to dogs. Today it’s a Bluey controversy and the banned episodes! (The Mary Sue)
