Did you hear about that flight with the crazy turbulence that had to make an emergency landing at Dulles International Airport? Seven people went to the hospital with injuries! That doesn’t sound like turbulence, that sounds like “almost crashing”. Anyway, Matthew McConaughey and his wife, Camila Alves, were on that flight. We’re about to find out if McConaughey is the kind of celebrity to tell us how he would have done things better if he was in charge. (DListed)

Daisy Jones & the Six accidentally/on purpose dropped the first three episodes on Amazon Prime last night, twenty-four hours early. The cast recorded a full album for Aurora, the fictitious album in the book. It’s not bad! I like it better than the episodes of the actual show I’ve seen, anyway. (Popsugar)

Carol Burnett’s 90th birthday includes a television special. Basically all of the high-profile comedy and TV ladies showed up, but so did Katy Perry and Billy Porter, among others. The fashion is kind of all over the place. Everyone dressed for a different event. (Go Fug Yourself)

Alex Murdaugh was found guilty on all counts relating to the murders of his wife, Margaret, and son, Paul Murdaugh. There are still so many unanswered questions about what all this family got away with, I hope this is just the first in a series of trials to finally bring some justice and closure to their victims. Welcome to “the Art Game”, a roving poker game involving some of the biggest names in the art world (featuring an appearance by Jennifer Lawrence’s husband, Cooke Maroney), which has leached out to include, naturally, celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire. I wonder if Maguire is any better behaved these days, after Molly’s Game revealed him as (probably) a bad loser and obnoxious player. I would like a Last Dance-style docu-series about the Art Game, please and thank you. (Vanity Fair)
