Prince Harry participated in the Audi Polo Challenge this weekend in Ascot and Royal Meghan was there both days to hang out. She also brought along a couple of friends, Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian. Casual, you know? Hey so the duchess needs a plus two for the polo. Yeah, sure, of course. Who’s she coming with? Oh, just the GOAT.
Serena, of course, is in England for Wimbledon. She won her first round match yesterday. Before that though, she and Alexis spent time with Meghan and Harry at their cottage in the Cotswolds. Serena’s next match is tomorrow. And Meghan has been to Wimbledon before to watch Serena play. That was back in 2016, just after she and Harry started dating but before the world found out about it. Will we see Meghan in the Royal Box for the first time? Apparently she’s been confirmed to attend.
Has Harry ever been to Wimbledon? I don’t remember. I remember Will and Kate at Wimbledon, lots. But I can’t find any Getty shots of Harry there. It’ll be extra special then if/when he and Meghan show up together. Will she be allowed to fist-pump when Serena hits a winner down the line? Or is that a violation of some kind of tight-ass etiquette too?
