Meghan Markle is supposedly taking Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor to New York this summer. I don’t know if this is true, but I hope so. Because after her baby shower bonanza in New York earlier this year, there were all kinds of reports about how fussed the royal courtiers were over the trip. And if she goes back there just six months later, it’s almost a middle finger to whatever it was that was so far up their asses. (Dlisted)

Meanwhile, Thomas Markle is apparently pissed at how he was portrayed in the Lifetime movie, Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal. After all those years he spent in the business, does Thomas Markle not understand that Lifetime movies are fiction? Like comedic fiction? He should be flattered that they made him one of the funniest parts of the movie. (Cele|bitchy)

Here’s Taron Egerton wearing a denim jacket with all kinds of buttons and patches all over it. Which is a trend. Which Taylor Swift fans will attribute to her, even though so many labels have been doing it for months before her Entertainment Weekly cover. (Go Fug Yourself)

The Lion King movie is coming. That press tour is going to be ramping up soon. Will Beyoncé be involved? How much involvement? Here are the new Lion King character posters they’ve just released. As everyone has already pointed out on social media, they’re basically just animal photos. I’m trying to decide if I can see anything resembling the spirit of Beyoncé in Nala’s face. No success. (Pajiba)

Star Wars nerds freaked out yesterday over the opening of Galaxy’s Edge. George Lucas was there, joined by Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Lando Calrissian. Oh and the Millennium Falcon which is pretty much a character at this point. And the life-size version does look pretty good. Are you going? (TMZ)

Whoa! Now this is a read. And a FIGHT. Vulture has ranked the best HBO shows. Ranked lists are always contentious. Agree or disagree? I think you’re going to be surprised at where Game of Thrones ended up in relation to Sex & the City. Also, I think Veep is way too low, meaning I think Veep should have been ranked in a much better position. (Vulture)
