Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth fell in love while filming The Last Song in Savannah, Georgia. They kissed on the beach on Tybee Island. Let’s revisit those scenes.

Liam has been shooting a movie there and Miley visited him a couple of days ago. They went back to Tybee Island. She’s wearing some extra rings. Some people are wondering if this was kind of a honeymoon, or something, even though she recently said, “I don’t envision marriage. I’m 24. I hope I get to live a little more. I have too much living to do”. That’s an interesting perspective on marriage. Do you stop living once it happens? Do you stop living as an individual once it happens? Maybe what she means is that, conventionally, people get married and have children. And once you have children, it changes the shape of your independence. Because there is now someone who is dependent on you. But that’s more a statement about parenting than a statement about marriage.
Anyway, Miley and Liam, may or may not be married but they are definitely together and happy and she’s the musical guest on Saturday Night Live this weekend with Larry David hosting. I’m always into SNL when Miley’s on. Her performances on SNL are always, always terrific. I wonder though what her performance will be like this time because, presumably, the material will be from her new album. And this new album is oatmeal. I don’t want oatmeal at midnight on a weekend.
