Reminder: the Critics’ Choice Awards are happening tonight. And James Franco has been nominated in the Best Actor category. Will James Franco show up? Or is he skipping the event? This is also the first event since the Michelle Williams/Mark Wahlberg pay revelation became public. If the point of Time’s Up is to address systemic inequality in all industries, and if that’s what they claim to want to talk about, how will celebrities respond to questions about both issues?

Yesterday Greta Gerwig offered a thoughtful response  to the question about working with Woody Allen and today it’s Mira Sorvino, who won an Oscar for her performance in Woody Allen’s Mighty Aphrodite and who has now apologised to Dylan Farrow. Like Greta, Mira has done the work and is modelling, perhaps for others, how to finally stop fumbling on this issue. Will there be others who will follow? (Dlisted)

Princess Kate talks about the effects of social media on young people and how it can be destructive, not just for young people but for adults as well. And she talks about social media like she doesn’t use it. Have we ever talked about royals and social media? Obviously they know what it is. Do you believe hat they don’t use it though? Like privately? Because I don’t. For sure they have private Instagram accounts. For SURE. Meghan Markle may have deleted her Twitter and her Instagram but I would not be surprised if she’s on there with a super-locked account and only a few people know about it. The UK tabloids reported two years ago that Prince Harry has a secret Instagram account and I can’t imagine, if he has one, why Meghan wouldn’t either. And Will and Kate too. (Cele|bitchy)

I really hate this entire look on Katy Perry. The eye makeup matching the outfit is unnecessary. The earring and the necklace too. The shoes are terrible. It bothers me that her finger and toe nail colour are different so even where she doesn’t match it doesn’t work. And… she matches the logo on the step and repeat behind her! (Go Fug Yourself)

Tully, starring Charlize Theron, written by Diablo Cody, and directed by Jason Reitman – so this is an all-star team – looks like it has a lot of potential and I’m definitely interested. Even if I’m not a parent. However, because I’m also a judgy superficial asshole, I’m worried that I won’t be able to get past the name. I really hope that there’s a good reason that the character’s name is Tully. (Pop Sugar)

If you aren’t outraged enough over the Michelle Williams/Mark Wahlberg pay situation, here are more details about how it happened. Please note that Ari Emmanuel, who represents Mark, and who some people believe Jeremy Piven’s Entourage character was based on, is the head of WME, also Michelle’s agency. So it’s not like he doesn’t know their contracts, it’s not like there would have been no way for him to be aware of it. (TMZ)

Dan Harmon created Community and is the showrunner for Rick and Morty and a number of other projects. Even if you didn’t/don’t watch those shows though, you have to read and listen to his apology to Megan Ganz, a writer he sexually harassed, and who called him out.  (The Mary Sue)
