Never in a million years would I have predicted Ellen over Sandra. But here it is – my Canadian Asian sister… she stumbled tonight, non? Thing is – I like the accessories, I like the gold silver combination, tacky yesterday but acceptable today, and what’s more, according to the fashionista breed, metal mixing is the new hot, the only key is to rock it the right way. And I think we can agree that lilac Vera Wang isn’t rockin’ it the right way. Too delicate, too frilly, beautiful on its own, but horrid put together. Sometimes you just have to pick one side, you know? Greedily hoarding both ends is never a good thing, and as brilliant as she usually is, Sandra overreached tonight.
