All-over sequin dresses are not usually my thing. But Naomie Harris cannot be denied in this gold sparkly gown because it looks like it’s more than just sequins. It looks like it’s tinfoil compressed together and along the skirt, there seem to be added embellishments (or the illusion of them) creating origami shapes and all kinds of different dimensions.
We are looking at more than just the dress though. It’s also her hair matched perfectly with the different tones in the material of the gown without feeling too matchy-matchy. And all of it comes together because of those earrings. Like you think it’s already a lot with all the gold and the brightness and on top of that it’s the earrings, not exactly subtle, but still, it not only works, the green becomes the connector to the entire look. And of course the best part of it is that none it seems to be wearing her or overwhelming her. Really, really good styling happening here, non?
