Nicholas Hoult and Joe Alwyn are supporting actors in The Favourite, starring Olivia Colman, Emma Stone, and Rachel Weisz, world premiering at the Venice Film Festival. Here they are at the photo call today, looking very tall and very handsome. As you know Joe is dating Taylor Swift. Nick used to date Jennifer Lawrence (he is now with model Bryana Holly and they just had a child). Imagine the power double date though if they were still together?
Joe, of course, is the inspiration for Taylor’s song “Gorgeous”, hence his nickname among Taylor’s fans – “Gorgeous Joe”. He’s good-looking, for sure. But these are the first photos I’ve seen of him on a carpet where I’ve been like, ohhhh yeahhh, he’s HOT. Is it because his hair is longer? Is it because he has some stubble?
That said, I’m not sure about the fit of these pants.
There’s a strong boyband 2000/2001 throwback vibe here. Think of NSYNC and how they used to wear their pants. You don’t believe me? I was hoping you would say that.
Take away the patches and the rips and all the other mess and that’s basically how Joe is wearing his pants. Are they making a comeback? If so, I’m not sure he’s the one to lead it?
