She and Keith Urban were photographed out for froyo yesterday with Sunday Rose in Studio City. Gran is currently shooting Just Go With It with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. Weird, non? Of course Nicole would never, ever be living in Hollywood it not for the work. What? Of course not. She’s so down home Nashville. Those are, like, her People, you know? And totally prefers their company to flying private on Rupert Murdoch’s private jet.

Having said that, this is the most relatable Gran’s looked in a long time. Almost like a real person. And even Third Lip has been contained, under control, not leaking out from around her teeth. Perhaps she’s finally heard their pleas. When major publications like the New York Times cheekily throw out comments about her over-Botox and how her freeze is distracting from her talent, perhaps it’s time to let go, ironically for self preservation. Because the job offers are simply not coming in like they were before. And it doesn’t have so much to do with her aging as it does with her not being believable anymore.
