Rachel Ricketts is an activist, healer, speaker, and author. Last week she wrote a piece for Cosmopolitan, “Biden Won, but if You’re Going Back to Brunch, You’re Part of the Problem”, about how the work is far from over and her concern that celebration and complacency will go hand in hand.
Rachel’s work has been featured in The New York Times, Buzzfeed, Huffpo, The Cut, and more. She has presented at SXSW and other conferences and workshops around the world, engaging people in conversation about racial equality and social justice, and advocating for the “needs and comfort of Black and Indigenous women”.
Her new book, Do Better: Spiritual Activism for Fighting and Healing from White Supremacy, will be released February 2, 2021. As Rachel says, “pre-sales are key for the success of a book – especially by a Black author”. To pre-order Rachel’s Do Better, please click here.
