We should be seeing more of Stephanie Hsu in the coming weeks. She’s part of The Fall Guy cast, led by Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, and they were all at SXSW a few weeks ago, which reminds me that I did not give enough love to this killer denim fit she wore when she was there for the screening.
It’s half a bustier, and a ruffle shoulder, over a pencil jean skirt and boots – SO good.
This week Stephanie was at the premiere of another movie, with her good friend Allan K Washington, and it’s my favourite look of the week because I’m making it all about me – this is totally my aesthetic. And while I can’t find an official ID on the designer, to me it’s giving Japanese, Comme Des Garçons… Issey Miyake? Here’s an off-white Issey Miyake dress that’s not exact, but similar and excellent.
She’s comfortable. She’s stylish, SO stylish, she could have gone with a different shoe, a flat, an Oxford, that would have been my preference, but the black strap heel is fine and her makeup is beautiful. I need to find this lip colour!
Anyway, back to the original point – Stephanie will be serving more looks in the days to come as The Fall Guy promotion gets louder. They were all just junketing this week, the movie comes out May 3, so the multi-city premieres will be happening soon. Can’t wait to see Stephanie’s tour wardrobe.
