It’s Penelope Cruz wearing a perfect strapless dress with a unique line and a beautiful back zipper, regal and dramatic at the Goya Awards in Spain last night. Is this a sign of how she’ll bring it to the Oscars? Because it’s good. Because she’s been recycling one look for a while. And the change is so lovely.

Also a rare public appearance with her sexy beast Javier Bardem. They were seated together during the ceremony. And laughing. In great spirits. Not all private and hiding and weird about being seen. I totally buy their desire to protect their relationship. But once in a while it’s nice to get off on their combined sizzle without them complaining about it.

Will it be the same at the Kodak? Doubtful.
