The opening gala tonight at TIFF at Roy Thompson is for Creation starring the aforementioned Jennifer Connelly. Normally that’s the big cheese. But at the Elgin it’s Penelope Cruz for Broken Embraces with Pedro Almodovar. And it’ll will be a clustesrf-ck too. Especially since she’s pregnant. And she’ll be walking her first carpet with Javier Bardem’s baby.
