At this point, NO ONE is taking down Helen Mirren but it really would be that much more interesting if Winslet and Cruz could gain some momentum. I saw The Queen, I enjoyed The Queen…but as my girl Lenni said, The Queen could also have been a BBC Movie of The Week…and forgive me for saying it, although she absolutely deserves to be up there, but speaking of tv movies, wasn’t Helen ironically much better as Elizabeth???
