You better know her name. You better know her show. You better recognise that that show is nothing without her. Because she’s Lea Michele.

This is what happened at the Time 100 Most Influential event the other night. After all, it was the Time 100. And Lea Michele, in a room full of internationally renowned names, believing of course that she belongs there, was asked by a photographer on the carpet what her name was. According to Page Six, Lea’s initial response was “Sarah Palin”. The photog laughed and then asked again – no really, what’s your name? She then answered “Taylor Swift”. Apparently Ms Michele was “really annoyed he didn’t know who she was”.
Because, you know, hers is the most memorable face in an industry full of memorable faces, right?
Um, sit DOWN sing-a-long girl. Before you Shannen Doherty your way out of a job.
This is Lea Michele at the Tony Award nominations with Jeff Daniels on Tuesday. She should be best friends with Emmy Rossum.
