Global Citizen’s VAX Live: The Concert to Reunite the World was recorded in LA yesterday. The show was hosted by Selena Gomez and will be broadcast on May 7 featuring appearances and/or performances by John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, President Joe Biden and MVP Kamala Harris, David Letterman, Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck, and more. Of course we’re going to talk about the Bennifer Returns. That’s coming up later.

Meghan did not appear to be at the venue yesterday; it’s presumed she’ll appear when the show airs in a pre-taped segment. The goal of VAX Live is to “inspire vaccine confidence worldwide and help get the COVID-19 vaccines to everyone, everywhere”.
And help is very much needed right now in India. The case surge is so devastating that there is a need for everything – vaccines, PPE, ventilators, and more. Temporary hospitals have been set up and they are in desperate need for support. “At least 1.4 million people” in Canada are of Indian ancestry, of course so many of them are worried about their loved ones. I’ve made a donation through the Red Cross. If you are able to help, here is a list of other organisations that could use an assist.
