The Queen left Buckingham Palace for the last time today and will lie in state at Westminster Hall until the funeral on Monday. Members of her family followed behind on foot behind her coffin, including Princes William and Harry who walked side by side. Which, of course, reminded a lot of people of the last time they walked side by side on this occasion. (Cele|bitchy)
So I’ve watched this video and I have elderly relatives who look like the people in this video and if that were my grandfather or mother or even my parents… I don’t think I’d be mad if they were having a good time. Oscar Isaac was also at the Emmys but he didn’t get much play through the night even though, as usual, he looked like a snack. It’s not him I’m drawn to right now though. Rather, it’s his wife, Elvira, and this is such a beautiful dress on her and that’s the perfect hair for it too. (Go Fug Yourself)

I have written many times in this space about instant pots and air fryers and whether or not I should get one or both and people have written in many times to give me their opinion – and this was a preoccupation during the early part of the pandemic, then I gave it a rest, but as the weather cools and I cook more at home, it’s definitely going to be a debate again.
