After supporting addiction recovery programmes yesterday in Liverpool, Catherine of Cambridge spent the rest of Valentine’s Day at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital’s Oncology Ward visiting with young patients. I guess all that talk of her being nervous and the Palace’s worry about her going out on her own without William was just to control expectations. Because, as you can see, she’s fine. More than fine. She’s thriving, she’s great with the children, she doesn’t even care that she needs powder!
