Because it’s so hard to get any good gossip on her…

My sources tell me exclusively that Rachel McAdams was in Vancouver briefly last week to shoot a cameo for a very low profile Canadian tv show called The Guard, which is another reason to love her: that she takes time to support Canadian projects that are grossly underfunded. She did the same for Slings and Arrows a few years ago. These are the artistic and eclectic choices she makes that will ensure she has a long career.

Meanwhile, rumour has it producers are pushing for a Christmas Day release for The Time Traveller’s Wife, perhaps hoping for a Titanic-like reception and maybe even an award-season run. There’s been virtually no advance word on how it looks so far.

Am attaching photos of Rachel from 2005…just because in hindsight I really liked her as a blonde. Gorgeous.
