My brain refuses to retain the information that there is a new Hunger Games prequel opening next week, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. I think my brain is protesting that ridiculous title.
The movie opens next Friday, and the cast was doing more promotion in London yesterday. They were able to secure an interim agreement as distributor Lionsgate is not a member of AMPTP, but that is now moot with the actors’ strike coming to an end. Anyway, here are stars Rachel Zegler, Hunter Schafer, and Tom Blyth in rainy old London.
I am always into whatever Hunter Schafer is wearing, and this two-piece outfit, identified as the work of Conner Ives, is no different, though for me, it’s the perfect pink pumps making the outfit. People don’t think of pink as an autumnal color, but it absolutely can be, especially in velvet and when paired with a perfect grey wool coat like this. I wish I could get a better look at Rachel Zegler’s outfit—is that a dress? A shirt-skirt combo?—but her leather trench is on point.
And I have to mention Tom Blyth, who stars in the film as a younger, not-yet-president Coriolanus Snow. As Lainey said, he looks TOTALLY different with his hair dyed blonde in the movie. Here, rocking his natural brown color, I actually did a double take because for a second, I thought that was Miles Teller. Another thing my brain refuses to retain—what, exactly, Miles Teller looks like.
