Robert Pattinson was at the GO Gala this weekend. It’s an event he’s been associated with since at least 2008. Go Campaign helps children access education, medical care, food, shelter, and enrichment programs. He is probably the most high-profile celebrity consistently associated with this initiative.
And this year he was joined by Suki Waterhouse for the first time. Robert and Suki have been together five years. They’ve been at fashion shows together, they’ve done the Met Gala together, they’ve slowly been less cagey about their relationship. That’s not to say that they’re super public, not even close. But she’s recognised as his longtime partner, and with that status, they’re now obviously much more comfortable doing red carpets. Here they are inside at the dinner.
Their appearance is timely too. Because for the last couple of weeks, there’s been a rumour circulating online. People noticed recently that Suki has started following pregnancy and parenting accounts on social media. And that’s it, that’s all I got. That’s the rumour. Then again, that’s how it works now. What and who you follow and unfollow when you’re a celebrity is often the genesis of a rumour, a sign of… something – either a romance or beef or a new development. People have been pointing to when Taylor Swift’s friends like Ryan Reynolds started following Travis Kelce to determine the timeline of when Taylor and Travis’s situation may have started. This doesn’t mean the rumour about Suki is true, necessarily. I’m just saying you can’t wave off a rumour that starts from an IG follow anymore.
For now, let’s just leave that there and can we talk about her horrible outfit? Like… what is this dress and the undergarments? This bra looks like she’s had it in her underwear drawer for over a decade and has lost all elasticity. By now we’ve seen the sheer dress over lingerie look a million times. And the dress itself is a floppy mess. Suki is a model. She has access to a muuuuuch better sheer option than this. Like look at this amazing fit she wore on tour recently!
