Robin Wright is no longer blonde. Seen here at LAX yesterday, Robin showed off some new black hair. It’s a hard look. Hard as in tough. Especially since hers has never been a soft, gentle face to begin with. Robin has angles and very little padding. Some would call it harsh. Indeed, she is ice cold. Some journalists at TIFF called her a tight ass bitch. Perhaps. But I like that in my girls.

Robin can currently be seen in the underperforming A Christmas Carol and spoke to Entertainment Weekly recently about parenting in Hollywood. She has two kids with Sean Penn and they lived in San Francisco until not too long ago:

I didn’t want to raise my kids in this weird, sycophantic society. If you have celebrity parents, it’s not a good recipe for the kids, or anyone at any age. Look at what Brad and Angelina go through.

True. And ironic. As you probably know, their son Hopper was arrested last week at school. Hollywood is a filthy place.

With regards to the divorce…

Wright’s face darkens when asked about her divorce from Penn. “I don’t want to talk about it in great detail because it will all be reflected back to him, and I’m not interested in sharing that with people,” she says. “I have no regrets. I have two wonderful kids, and when I’m asked ‘Why did you leave?’ I guess, it was just ‘I’m going over here now.’” She takes a breather to gaze out at the Pacific and adds her last two words on the subject: “New book.”
