I think Ryan Gosling’s stylist and I might be mind-melding. Yesterday I posted about his arrival in Venice ahead of the First Man world premiere and I predicted that he’d wear a white tux to the gala. Which is what he did. He likes a white jacket. This time he went without a bow tie. I don’t think I mind?
Ryan’s costar, Claire Foy, meanwhile, wore Valentino. What makes the overall outfit special is the red scarf-cape, creating a really interesting, deconstructed silhouette that works so well to shake up and modernise the classic cut of the pink dress. The timelessness of the dress is maintained. But the red accent totally updates it for now. Excellent styling.
