New lipstick obsession alert!!!!
All-natural brand ILIA has just launched their high pigmented lip crayons and I’m here to tell you that they are indeed the sh-t of all sh-ts.
6 pucker worthy shades in a rich, satin cream finish and their new formulation is on point. It goes on super rich yet lands so light that you actually forget you have a full lip on, and for me that’s proof of a damn good product. No one wants to be weighed down by product, right?
Now let’s talk about the colors. From a cool rose to the perfect red and everything in between you have a spectrum to choose from. My personal favorite is “99 Red Balloons”, but I’m also really feeling “Dress You Up”. (Lainey: I’m super into “Walk This Way”, it looks slightly different depending on what you’re wearing, and I need to know why these particular songs were chosen for the names.) Also another point of interest is the precision of application – the pointed tip crayon (which btw, has a sharpener included at the base) allows you to fill in with ease while also getting into the corners and cupid bow.
