At the start of this pandemic, I went hard on loungewear. Then for some reason I kind of just stopped writing about it and to be honest, I’m not sure why because it’s not like my outfit choices have changed. I continue to exclusively wear elastic waist everythinggggg so unless you all have any objections I might bring it back. Let me put out the feelers with Londre Bodywear.

This Vancouver brand is known for their sustainable and ethically made swimsuits. I don’t own a suit but I always hear rave reviews and over the years have had quite a number of readers ask me to prop them. They are touted as one of the most flattering, high quality swimwear brands out there but what makes them stand out is their added twist of being committed to producing the lowest possible fashion footprint. In fact, since they started back in 2017 Londre has recycled over 100,000 plastic bottles off the streets and beaches of Taiwan into their sustainable swimwear with each swimsuit made up of a minimum of six recycled plastic bottles. God, I love smart people.

F-ck, I’m getting side tracked. Sorry. Let's get into their loungewear offering. They have one style and one style only, aptly named "The Essential".

I mean, look at this thing - you can feel the softness coming through the image. I don’t own one yet so I can’t totally vouch for it, but I’m gonna go out on a limb and say it looks pretty damn perfect for this season. A little crop and volume on top paired with a super high waist loose pant. Sign me up! And once again, the brand stays true to their roots as the set is made from Lyocell, derived from sustainable harvested wood pulp in a closed loop system and organic cotton. These matching sets are in limited quantity so....ready! set! go!
