I have and always will be a high waisted denim girl. I don’t know how people do any other style. Not only does it create the illusion of a longer leg but you can tuck in all the side stomach juice. Again, how do you do any other style?!!??!!?!?!?
My favorite pair hands down is the Citizen Chrissy Uber High Rise skinny jeans. They’re basically like the pair of vintage jeans that you’ve always been searching for but you’ll never find. I scooped up two pairs (in roulette & hotline) and they are always on heavy rotation. And what makes them so bomb-ass is that they have a really high cotton content which means they feel like what denim should feel like, as opposed to all that legging nonsense that’s out there.
Ok, but I do have some bad news ….they ain’t cheap. I know! I know! It’s a redonk amount of money to pay but I swear, you’ll have these for a lifetime and if you skip like, I don’t know, two dinners out with your girlfriends I’m telling you it will be worth the sacrifice. Does it make it any better that I think they are named after Chrissy Teigen? (I think I might have made that up though.)
