We were watching Saturday Night Live this weekend and he was mesmerised. Not the dick-in-his-hand pervy kind of mesmerised but genuine appreciation. Like, at one point he said, this is a good song. And he meant it. Of course the, um, flexibility is a factor. But it’s more than that. Shakira is incredibly endearing. There’s a sweetness in her face that seems like it comes from inside. She has a lovely, genuine smile. And the campy cheese? It’s all a bonus. Also, her body is sick and there’s still meat on her. It actually folds when she bends. Love.
Shaki was at the Whitney Gala last night. I don’t know how she can breathe in this dress.
