It’s the show that everyone is bingeing and while there are so many wonderful, lovely things to enjoy about Bridgerton, as Sarah has documented in the use of colour and the costumes and textiles and the gossip and most of the hot sex, there is That Scene. And how they deal with it and DON’T deal with the violation that happens in That Scene.

As it happens, one of us is a television writer – that would be Duana – and so on this final episode of 2020, we get in bed with Daphne and the Duke and discuss how they could have handled that moment and how they might address it going forward. We also talk about some of the series’ other shortcomings and what the Bridgerton writers’ room might be tackling as they approach season two.

When you’re done with Bridgerton, if you haven’t started yet, what else is there to do while you’re winding down 2020 and heading into 2021? We’ve been asked by listeners for recommendations – what do read, watch, listen to, and we’re here with some of the obsessions that have gotten us through this f-cked up year.

And finally, some inspiration – from a listener and a reader who showed the sh-t out of her work, and made the most, like the f-cking MOST, out of her at-bat. MG is the energy we all need right now!

As always, thank you so much for supporting our show this year and always, thank you for caring about work, your own and ours too, and remember, good work requires, from time to time, a break from work. Hopefully you’re able to take that break, or will be able to soon.

We’ll be back in the new year with more work!
