Surprise! It’s another Golden Globes controversy. Some of the members (and we’re not really sure who, exactly, the members are) are threatening to boycott and withhold their votes because they can’t get tickets to the show. They also still haven’t confirmed a host for the show… which is in three weeks. Two of which are holidays. (The Wrap)
Saturday Night Live, hosted by Kate McKinnon, with an assist from Maya Rudolph and Kristen Wiig, was pretty f-cking great this weekend. Tampon Farm! ABBA! And Colin Jost and Michael Che destroyed each other on Weekend Update, as is the holiday tradition. Last week, with Adam Driver, was also a strong episode. Which is why Sarah and I are still wondering how it could be that Emma Stone’s episode was SO bad?! (Pajiba)
I’ll try anything so I’ll probably try this but I can’t see how I’m going to enjoy: Doritos Nacho Cheese Vodka….just not a combination of flavours that my mouth has been missing, you know? What will the biggest hair trends be in 2024? I’m actually thinking of cutting bangs. I couldn’t wear bangs for over 20 years because of some feng shui but I think that period has passed. They aren’t on the list though. But that 90s bob takes me back, because I had one. (Refinery29)
