Sydney Sweeney is playing boxer Christy Martin for her next role and there’s been a physical transformation. She’s been training and she’s changed her hair. Like Rachel Leishman who wrote the post at The Mary Sue, I too enjoyed the tweet that calls out “those weirdo incels” who held up Sydney as some kind of ideal and will now have to deal with the fact that she now “looks closer to the type of women they hate”. This performance has Oscar-bait all over it. They’ll have to deal with that too. (The Mary Sue)

Ashley Park’s suit is two suits in one and I f-cking love it. And it’s not just the difference in both sides it’s also the tailoring – this oversize vibe looks so good on her and the shoe choice is perfect. That bag though… I mean it’s giving 90s Versace so I get it but it’s also pulling focus from the suit. Same bag, but smaller? I feel like that would have done the trick. (Go Fug Yourself)

I can’t wait to start watching Culinary Class Wars on Netflix. But I don’t want to do it until I have a whole weekend of nothingness where I don’t have to move from my couch from sun up to sun down. Right now it’s still warm enough (like this weekend) in Toronto that we can play golf. So that eats up so much of the day. Once it gets colder though… or maybe during the holidays? I will binge the sh-t out of this show. The reviews have been amazing. Another example of outstanding Korean television production. (Pajiba)

Staying on the food theme… author Nicholas Sparks shared his chicken salad recipe and, no thank you. Here’s my chicken salad recipe: Kewpie mayo, kimchi, green onions, and Japanese milk break if you put it in a sandwich. YOU ARE WELCOME. (Celebitchy)

Nora Princiotti wrote a great piece about Liam Payne for The Ringer and One Direction’s fanbase. “But the legacy of One Direction is its fan base, which has far outlasted the band itself, and for young millennials, especially those who were fans of One Direction, Payne’s passing carries the shock of losing someone who defined a piece of their childhood." (The Ringer)
