According to PEOPLE Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were recently on holiday in the Bahamas. There was a blurry sighting of the two of the them but for the most part they were able to enjoy the trip undisturbed. TNT are now back in Los Angeles and yesterday went out for lunch at Nobu Malibu.
More pap photos of the two leaving hand-in-hand can be seen here but patrons were also sharing photos and videos of the two inside the establishment.
One photo in particular that was posted on socials was a still of Taylor wide her mouth open and some people who were playing Photo Assumption, our favourite game of baseless conclusions, interpreted it to mean that she was yelling at Travis, or scolding him.
This is why, as much as we enjoy the silliness of Photo Assumption, it is not a reliable source of gossip. Because when you watch the video from which that moment was extracted, it’s a totally different story.

As you can see, Taylor was simply screenshotted mid-talk, no drama here. But we can talk about that, right? The drama-free second season of TNT so far? Drama doesn’t to be beef and/or negative – drama can be heightened energy and suspense. Will they do this, go there, win the game, lose the game, etc etc etc. Drama is intensity, feelings and vibes cranked to the max… and it’s unsustainable.
So the fact that the last few weeks of TNT since the Super Bowl have been so chill is a good, as they receded from the spotlight and public scrutiny, should be a good thing where our show is concerned. And for their relationship also a bit of a test, as in whether or not the romance can exist in the calm, when it’s not all hype and crazy energy all of the time. It feels like TNT at this point has been a longer than it really is. I mean it was only six months ago that news first broke that Taylor and Travis were dating. This is the stage when, typically, around the six month to a year mark, when the buzz from the honeymoon phase of a relationship starts to taper and we level off into more stability, perhaps less excitement, but a phase that truly can set the foundation for something serious and long-term. Which is another reason why the early part of season two is happening off-camera. And besides, in about three weeks or so, The Tortured Poets Department will suck up all the oxygen.
