The big show on the calendar at Paris Fashion Week today is the Chanel FW26 presentation. Remember, this is a new Chanel, Chanel under the creative direction of Matthieu Blazy, I just read a piece at Vogue that there’s a Chanel frenzy in Paris the last few days because his designs are now finally in stores and all the fashion girlies are scrambling to get the new pieces. That’s exactly what the house was looking for with this hire – money is key, increasing sales but also covetability. So far, and I know it’s only been six months, the Blazy era is off to a good start.
More on the new collection later but for now, let’s enjoy Teyana Taylor, who’s been seen in several Chanel pieces through this award season, including during one of her promos when she hosted SNL.
She was also at the subway show back in December and was very complimentary about the impact Matthieu has had.
Teyana, who of course will be back in LA in due time ahead of Oscar weekend, since she’s an Oscar nominee, took her Chanel to the next level today, with platinum hair in signature Chanel black and white…but under raincoat dotted in red sequins… like blood droplets?
It’s giving Storm, I’m obsessed.
