The theme was Anglomania, the event was the annual Costume Institute Gala, the venue - the Metropolitan Museum of Art. And from a fashion perspective, it"s probably a helluva lot more fun than the Oscars because you are allowed NOT to play it safe. Couture reigns supreme so remember - it"s not what YOU would wear, looking "nice" is not good enough, and "high fashion" is the name of the game. High fashion, artsy fartsy, there"s always a time and a place. So without further ado, let"s start debating, shall we????
