Carey Mulligan in Berlin in another black dress but a black dress that’s totally different from all the other black dresses she’s been wearing. This one features a …hem-cape? Cape-hem? Whatever it is I’m into it – it’s unique and weird and also right in her lane. (GoFugYourself)

Why so many celebrities, including Simon Cowell, are doing ads for mobile games. Do you play mobile games? Aside from the NYT games app, which are mostly word games, I play one mobile game: Bust-A-Move Journey. It’s an old game, there’s no money in it, probably most people under 30 have never heard of it, but I am obsessed and I am amazing at it. I would like to get paid for promoting it, which is why I’m being so thirsty right now, but that won’t happen because I’m pretty sure no one plays it. (Pajiba)

What’s that expression? Waking up and choosing violence? This Vox piece asks a question that is potentially quite violent, and I am 100% here for it, if only to see the reaction on Anna Wintour’s face when she sees it, even though she would deny seeing it: “Are Skims campaigns the new Vogue cover?” It’s not an unreasonable question considering the people that Kim Kardashian has been able to book to model her line. That said, among celebrities, it will probably still be considered more prestigious to cover Vogue, even for Kim herself. (Vox)
