It’s been pushed back time and again, now finally scheduled for the dog days of August, not usually the best time to release a film, especially since originally they had hoped it would be a Christmas movie…

And the trailer has just been released.

Bad thoughts.

Looks awful.

Again, in our little eTalk cubicle, Laura, Michelle, and Jen B were discussing this morning after all of us watched with a knot in our stomachs. Sinking expectations. Perhaps it was too ambitious of a story to put to film, to capture the essence of the book. Or maybe it’s just a bad trailer. Let’s hope. Because right now it looks like Time Traveller Lite.
