Timothee Chalamet is in Los Angeles, he was out today grabbing coffee in Santa Monica (which is technically a separate city, whatever). I was hoping this meant he’d be a guest on Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney, truly the weirdest talk show since Space Ghost Coast to Coast.
But alas, Timmy is not on the episode three guest list. The episode three guests are:

A funeral director?! We’re talking about death this week, everyone! Everyone, the topic is death and funerals! I would rather talk funeral plans than wedding plans any day of the week—as a precocious child, I once suggested a cousin get a vintage dress for her wedding, because then she could also wear it to her funeral and it would still look nice, and everyone was horrified, I still think it’s a good idea.
So I legit can’t wait to see what Raymundo Perez-Plascencia has to say about the death industry, but I kind of wish John Mulaney was having Cailtin Doughty on. She’s super informative about death industry practices, consumer protections in the death industry, and also documentaries about historically macabre happenings. I love her Youtube channel. Anyway, maybe Timmy will appear on another episode of Everybody’s Live. I’m giving extra cool points to anyone willing to go on the show now, when it is so f-cking weird and awkward. Get your cool points, Timmy!
What else happened today…
I know I am like, “People need to go to the movies”, but I am just ignoring the Minecraft movies. Families will turn up, it’ll do fine. Besides, A Working Man is out this weekend. That’s where I’m headed. Also, I saw The Day the Earth Blew Up, the Looney Tunes movie, this past weekend and it was really good! Fun for all ages, truly. Anyway, A Minecraft Movie is coming out and the premieres are happening now. People are wearing things on carpets. (Go Fug Yourself)
Often, retooling shows/movies is portrayed as a bad thing, but sometimes it works. Case in point: Daredevil: Born Again, which underwent massive changes during the production pause brought about by the 2023 labor strikes. The changes/reshoots ended up for the best, though, as the series tackles some real-world issues without losing its comic book sensibility. And it took those changes to bring Jon Bernthal back into the fold as the Punisher, never mind making series co-leads Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio much happier. In this case, a creative overhaul worked out for the best. (Pajiba)
Vivian Wilson covers Teen Vogue, and she sounds really well adjusted given that her dad is Elon Musk. I credit this to her mother, Justine Wilson Musk, Elon’s first wife, who has raised their kids out of the spotlight (and it sounds like mostly as a single mom). Vivian is trans, and I truly believe her coming out in 2020 is what finally broke Elon’s brain, especially regarding trans people and their (inalienable) human rights. My conspiracy theory is that he’s mad he “lost” a son, because I fully believe he does not value women/girls. Anyway, Vivian sounds cool and she’s studying abroad, and I hope she has a fulfilled life full of joy and wonder. (Celebitchy)
