Big shine on K-pop stars this weekend. We’ll start with BTS’s Jin who was in Paris for the Olympic torch arrival in the host city and selected as one of the torchbearers. This, obviously, brought out BTS’s ARMY and I enjoyed listening to the amusement in the French presenter’s voice as she commented through Jin’s part because it turned into a rock concert.

Here’s the Olympic edit of Jin’s appearance.

And here’s how much security they needed to crowd-control the situation.

Over in London, there was actually something going on other than the Euro final – one of the closing acts at the BST Festival in Hyde Park was Stray Kids as Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. delivered a super upbeat, electrifying performance in front of a massive crowd. Rolling Stone UK called it a “thunderous show of epic proportions”. (Rolling Stone)

Kristen Wiig stepped out in a very pretty floral dress but I don’t understand the shoes. The shoes are fine on their own, I just don’t think they work with what’s on top. I mean I’m not saying it had to be matchy matchy with another colour punk. Even a sneaker would have been better for me. (GoFugYourself)

Bitch, have you seen my work?” by Maya Rudolph, now let us never speak of it again. (Pajiba)

Kim and Khloe Kardashian were at the Ambani wedding this weekend, along with several other celebrities, and they looked great. But I’m too busy thinking about her finger and whether or not she f-cked it up because she has one of those ugly ass Cybertrucks. Remember when status symbols used to be cute?! (Celebitchy)

The Deadpool & Wolverine press tour has been expectedly entertaining, because it’s Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman and they are both excellent at publicity. By the way, they’re coming to ETALK and taking over our parking lot next week, and it’s going to be hundreds of people on one city block, a huge production, see below for more details.

As for some of the comedy that’s come out of these last few weeks of promotion – pegging ranks high on the list of favourites. Yes, pegging. When you’re dealing with Deadpool, the pegging is going to come up. And, like Rachel Leishman, I hope it keeps coming up. (The Mary Sue)
