It’s been a couple of weeks since we last saw Gigi Hadid with Tyler Cameron from The Bachelorette. Now he’s doing an interview with Entertainment Tonight and taking questions about Gigi. What do you think that means?
When asked about Gigi and what’s going on between them, Tyler says that they’re “just friends” and just “keeping it friendly”. When asked if he’s in love with a supermodel, he stumbles a bit before answering, “I’m at the point where I don’t really want to talk about my relationships. I’ve dated publicly so I’m trying to, you know, date privately, and … I’m not in love with anybody right now”.
That’s kind of an all over the place answer. I don’t know that you can get a read on anything from that answer. And then it’s brought up to Tyler that he went to Gigi’s grandmother’s funeral with her which… is a pretty serious family event to go to when you’ve only known each other a matter of weeks and you’re “just friends”. To that he ends up explaining that he and Gigi have “hung out a few times, that’s all”.
So is this just evasion? Here’s where my gut went: the minute I saw that he’d given an interview and is talking about Gigi for the first time, I was like, it’s over, that’s why he’s out there talking about it without talking about it. Because he wouldn’t be messing with the conversation at all if there was something to mess up. I mean I could be wrong. This the social media generation. Their own personal algorithms change as often as Google. Or maybe I am right but whatever they decided was temporary and five minutes later they’re back on again. That’s possible too. I’m just saying, he wasn’t talking when he was being invited out to dinner with Serena Williams and out to party with Taylor Swift and if he’s talking now … it’s possible that there’s been a change.
