I’m fascinated by all of the machinations of people who film at home because lightening a shoot is such a particular skill. Victoria Beckham showed a snippet of how much work goes into those videos, including having Ken Paves on hand to help and David Beckham directing. He is very serious.

Over the pandi there’s been a lot of re-watching of shows, and a rising popularity in podcasts about those shows. A couple of examples are Talking Sopranos (hosted by Michael Imperioli and Steve Schirripa), Office Ladies (hosted by Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey), Breaking Bad Insider (hosted by Vince Gilligan and editor Kelley Dixon), Bridgerton, and the new Welcome to the OC, Bitches! (hosted by Rachel Bilson and Melinda Clarke). What show do you want to see get this kind of crossover? For me it would be the original 90210, hosted by Shannen Doherty. Brenda Walsh ran that sh-t.

There’s a small blurb in US Weekly about Rooney Mara and Joaquin Phoenix thinking of having a second baby. I mean, maybe they are, but do I think anyone in their life is speaking to US Weekly about it? No. They are both extremely private and there’s no doubt they want that protection for their child, so I think it’s highly unlikely they would have anyone in their inner circle who would be a source for US Weekly. And even from a cynical PR perspective, there’s no upside here for them because neither are promoting a project or campaigning for an award.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi buy and sell a lot of property and right now are between places. Instead of a short-term rental they are staying with a friend, Courteney Cox. I’ve had friends and family stay with me while they are renovating or between places and this kind of short-term arrangement can be fun, it’s like an extended sleepover. Courteney talked about Ellen putting her toothbrush on the wrong side of the bathroom counter but I don’t believe for a second they are sharing a bathroom. Ellen and Portia are more likely in the guest house.

We deserve answers, period!
