It’s summer and not all celebrities are on a yacht in the Mediterranean. I mean, a lot of them are on a yacht, but some are enjoying the season on dry land. Let’s start with Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade because they were so cute during Mary J Blige’s show at the Blue Note Jazz Festival in Napa. Look at them! Smiling, singing, dancing, grinding – and I love her outfit: just a sports bra over khakis and a long shirt, comfortable, chic, and classic.
Now to Paris where Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were seen holding hands after lunch at Poule au Jar. They were in London a couple of weeks ago, just before the strike was called, as Ryan was shooting Deadpool 3. Production on the movie shut down immediately after the union made the announcement, no scabbing for Ryan. Looks like they decided to stay in Europe a little longer though instead of heading back to New York.
I mentioned the celebrity summer yacht life though and it doesn’t look like I could get away with not including anyone from the yacht club in this post because over in Portofino, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas are doing the boat holiday with friends. Her outfit is textbook yacht fashion – an off-white eyelet coverup that you would find hanging in the window of a store called What To Wear on the Yacht.
That also applies to the printed dress she was wearing in another set of photographs. The accessories are the standout in that look though – the earrings, the necklace, and the hair middle-parted all adds to the symmetry.
Finally, back to LA where we find Henry Golding, Liv Lo, and their daughter Lyla booting around on her ride. The Goldings announced recently that they are expecting their second child together. Henry will likely next be seen in The Old Guard 2 alongside Charlize Theron, whenever Netflix decides to drop it, and he recently wrapped work on Daniela Forever, in which he stars as a man grieving the loss of his girlfriend so he signs up for a sleep trial so that he can relive their time together through his dreams.
