Kensington Palace confirmed today where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will spend the night before their wedding. As expected, they won’t be together. Harry and William will be at Coworth Park. Meghan and her ma, Doria Ragland, will stay at Cliveden House Hotel. Google it. Google both, actually. Both places are like out of a picture book. And the weather right now on Saturday in Windsor is expected to be really, really nice. No rain, not too hot (20C), with a few clouds. So the view of the meadows and the flowers is going to be glorious at the hotel and on the ride from Cliveden House to St George’s Chapel. As previously announced, Meghan will travel by car, with her ma, from Cliveden House to Windsor Castle. The palace will allow a few reporters and photographers to film her leaving, just like they did with Kate Middleton.

Kate stayed at the Goring Hotel the night before the wedding. I went there for dinner the night before that with a friend. It was totally chill. And I don’t remember the tent being put out outside the front door yet. That morning though, that’s what they used to prevent people from seeing too much of it:

Like, you got the general idea but the full dress reveal was, for the most part, preserved for the moment she stepped out of the car at Westminster Abbey. I imagine it’ll be the same for Meghan on Saturday morning?
