Rihanna Papaya

Rihanna stepped out twice this weekend and gave us two outfits to appreciate. First at the Four Seasons for lunch in a really cute Miu Miu striped set that definitely isn’t maternity but as Rihanna has shown us with her pregnancy style, it doesn’t have to be maternity. She’s turned the polo into a crop and opened up the lower buttons over the skirt, over striped crew socks and flat mary janes. This is her version of pregnant and preppy. 

Then for dinner at her favourite spot, Giorgio Baldi, it was a sheer bra under a slouchy suit, accessorised with a polka dot tie. Sexy business casual as only RiRi can deliver.

Unfortunately she did not deliver at the box office this weekend as Smurfs kinda flopped. Not that Rihanna has to wear it, and she isn’t wearing it. This is her superpower, being one of the most elite celebrities on the planet – the projects that don’t do well don’t stick to her.

She hasn’t been watching Love Island herself but her people definitely understand the impact of Love Island because the sweetheart and winner of season seven, Amaya Papaya, confirmed that Fenty Beauty has reached out to her for a possible partnership. Amaya also revealed that Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty has been in touch too so this continues the momentum from last season when Serena Page came out of the villa with all kinds of brands interested and she did a campaign with Beyoncé’s Cécred. 

Not sure yet which offer Amaya will sign, but I wonder if, moving forward, she’ll be advised not to talk about it until the contracts have been signed, OMG!
